For Anyone Supporting Trump

2020-11-13 (4)

Trump people put their practical concerns above their moral ones. To them, it doesn’t make a difference if he’s a pussy-grabber, or if his campaign team colluded with Russia to help him defeat his political opponent. Trump supporters distaste for the establishment and democrats is a symbolic middle finger directed at Washington, and above all, the fundamental principles and guaranteed precedents upholding the Constitution of the United States of America.

The loyalty of Trump supporters is explained by America’s addiction to entertainment and reality TV. It doesn’t matter what Trump actually says because he’s so amusing to watch. With Trump, you’re always left wondering what outrageous thing he is going do or say next. He keeps us on the edge of our seat, and for that reason, Trump supporters forgive anything he says. They’re happy as long as they are kept entertained.

Trump exacerbates collective narcissism with his anti-immigrant, anti-elitist, and vigorous nationalistic rhetoric. By referring to his supporters, overwhelmingly white, as being “true patriots” or “real Americans,” he promotes a brand of populism which is the epitome of “identity politics,” a term associated with the political left. Left-wing identity politics, as misguided as they may sometimes be, are generally aimed at achieving equality, while the right-wing brand is based on a belief that one nationality or race is superior or entitled to success and wealth for no other reason than identity.

Then there’s the Terror Management Theory which predicts when people are reminded of their own mortality, which happens with Trump’s fear mongering, they more strongly defend those who share their worldviews and national or ethnic identity, acting out more aggressively towards those who do not.

By constantly emphasizing existential threat, Trump has created a psychological condition making their brains respond positively rather than negatively to bigoted statements and divisive rhetoric, so not only do death reminders increase nationalism, they influence voting habits in favor of more conservative presidential candidates.

The Republican party, going as far back to Richard Nixon’s “southern strategy,” has historically used tactics appealing to bigotry by lacing speeches with “dog whistles” i.e. code words signaling prejudice toward minorities and designed to be heard by racists. While the dog whistles of the past were subtler, Trump’s signaling is shockingly direct. There’s no denying he routinely appeals to racist and bigoted supporters when he calls Muslims “dangerous” and Mexican’s “rapists” and “murderers,” in a blanketed fashion. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a recent study has shown support for Trump is correlated with a standard scale of modern racism.

What do you think of:
Grabbing women “by the pussy” and referring to them as “pieces of ass” while claiming “women with small busts are not attractive”. “Women, you have to treat them like shit”. Calling multiple women “very unattractive person, both inside and out”, Slut-shaming Angelina Jolie, he would have ‘nailed’ Princess Diana. Telling a lawyer, she was “disgusting” for pumping breast milk. What about his remark about Megyn Kelly having “blood coming out of her wherever” or about female reporters “It doesn’t really matter what (they) write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass”, Maxine Waters having a low-IQ individual and Omarosa Newman is a “crazed, crying lowlife dog”, Ruth Bader Ginsburg “incompetent judge”, “Has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me” “Her mind is shot”, Elizabeth Warren is a “fake Pocahontas” “Goofy” Mocking Dr. Christine Blasey Ford for being sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh, Stormy Daniels “Horseface”, Alicia Machado: “Miss Piggy”. AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE THE MOST DISGUSTING COMMENT OF ALL “Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father… If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps, I would be dating her?”

How do you feel about Trump insulting men?
Jeff Sessions “This guy is mentally retarded. He’s this dumb Southerner” “Mr. Magoo”. . . . “He couldn’t even be a one-person country lawyer down in Alabama.” calling CNN’s Don Lemon “Dumbest Man on Television” “Sour Lemon”, FBI Agent Peter Strzok “is a fraud”, Christopher Steele a “lowlife”, Todd Brassner, a longtime resident at Trump Tower who died in an April fire in his apartment, a “Crazy Jew”. Matt Bai “dummy”, Steve Bannon “Sloppy Steve”, James Comey “Slimeball”, Justin Trudeau “leader of the igloo people”, John Dean a “Rat”, Gavin Newsome “How about this clown in California who’s running for governor?” Draft-dodger Trump avoided the Vietnam War with 5 suspect deferments had the audacity to claim John McCain, who spent more than five years as a prisoner of the North Vietnamese “He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.” “We’re not going to support that loser’s funeral”, and he became furious, when he saw flags lowered to half-staff. “What the fuck are we doing that for? Guy was a fucking loser.” Joe Biden “Crazy Joe” “Sleep Joe” “trying to act like a tough guy” “Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically” lol and yet Biden IS the PRESIDENT-ELECT.

How do you like Donald Trump’s long history of racism?
Repeatedly making explicitly racist and bigoted remarks, calling Mexican immigrants criminals and rapists, ‘Let’s shoot migrants! I want an electric wall! A snake and alligator filled moat!’, “You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals.” Proposing a ban on all Muslims entering the US, suggesting a judge should recuse himself from a case solely because of the judge’s Mexican heritage. Stereotyping a Black reporters, pandering to White Supremacists, making jokes about the Trail of Tears, saying Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me” and running a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.” Calling Coronavirus, the “Chinese Virus” and “Kung Flu”, racist terms tapping into the kind of highly offensive xenophobic he loves to spew. Refusing to rent to Black tenants, ordering black employees off the casino floor, taking out a full-page ad in the NY Times to “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY for the “Central Park Five” despite the DNA evidence proving they were not the culprits. I don’t want Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Publicly pitching The Apprentice: White People vs. Black People. Trump’s history of encouraging hate groups and violence. Applauding White Supremacists who endorse him and telling them they’re “some very fine people” Telling Black voters “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58% of your youth is unemployed. Repeatedly attacking NFL players who kneel or silently protest during the national anthem they’re unpatriotic ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out. He’s fired”. Haitians “all have AIDS” and “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib are “from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe” and that they should “go back” to those countries and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” Kamala Harris, “doesn’t meet the requirements” to be Joe Biden’s running mate, an example of birtherism. To White middle American Homemaker “The ‘suburban housewife’ will be voting for me. They want safety & are thrilled that I ended the long running program where low-income housing would invade their neighborhood” … I could go on about Trump’s racism but I think you get the point.

And lest we forget Trump’s incendiary and derogatory comments about other countries, the NFL, Civil Rights Protestors and Veterans: “Africa is made up of shithole countries”, “Puerto Ricans want everything to be done for them”, “Mexicans, they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists”. “Muslims are terrorists”, “Syrian refugees are ISIS-affiliated, diversity lottery immigrants and are the worst of the worst”. Kneeling NFL Players are “sons of bitches”, “Germany is a total mess”, “Black people kill White people in large numbers”, “White Supremacist are very fine people”, “15,000 Haitians immigrants “all have AIDS.” “Forty-thousand Nigerians “would never go back to their huts”, “If soldiers were ‘real patriots,’ they wouldn’t take a pay raise, and lest we forget insulting “Gold Star Families”? Trump’s pattern” of disrespect towards the U.S. military by repeatedly disparaging the intelligence of service members, and asked that wounded veterans be kept out of military parades. Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018 “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed. Attempts to block a Pentagon plan to cut military healthcare by $2.2 billion. He hasn’t addressed the organizational problems at Fort Hood. Five more Fort Hood soldiers died after Guillén even though he promised “We didn’t want this swept under the rug. They’re doing a very strong investigation. We’ll get to the bottom of it.”. Proposed cuts to more than 340,000 veterans could lose access to critical employment services that help boost wages and 400,000 veterans on average could lose access to critical nutrition assistance each year if the cut proposed in Trump’s budget were applied directly to participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Trump wants to add more red tape making it harder for veterans with disabilities to access the benefits they earned while serving in the military. Trump’s agenda threatens to make veterans’ housing insecurity even worse by targeting rental assistance programs for cuts. Trump’s reckless campaign promise to build a wall on the southern border has taken billions of dollars of taxpayer funds Congress appropriated for sorely needed military construction projects including schools, training ranges and medical facilities and other priorities to replace old fencing along the border. Shooting Civil Rights Protestors”

You’re an excellent example of the total embodiment and commitment of a loyal Trump Supporter as depicted in my “opinion” piece above; your comments have proved my point beyond measure! Thanks for participating.

      • Lol, stop reading those Marxist, Critical Race Theory cartoons and visit the FBI or DOJ web sites. You’re just making yourself look like an uneducated fool and a racist. Stop playing the victim in order to get more goodies out of the system and get a job. Twice as many white men are shot dead by police every year, some by “POC” cops and you persist in telling the BIG LIE. Your Josef Goebbels tactics are sickening. PS-Tell your black brothers to stop raping white women to the tune of 30.000 a year.

      • Samantha,
I’m sorry my brutal honesty bruised your ego and hurt your “widdle feewings”. You’re clearly in need of making yourself appear “bigger” than you actually are, which is a symptom of an acute personality disorder and indicative of insecurity, narcissism, negative thought patterns, jealousy and resentment. A bit of advice: don’t offer condescending commentary about a group that you are, by the very act of your comment, a card-carrying member of. You see, bigots, such as yourself have no shortage of language to express their small-mindedness; it’s well-honed vernacular in a country still struggling with race even decades after constitutionally protected equality was established.

Of course, you’re entitled to your incorrect opinion of me, but you’re wrong on so many levels, depicted by your overtly pretentious views on “Marxism, Critical Race Theory, Josef Goebbels” which you are clearly incapable of understanding

So, let’s set the record straight; there are nearly 160 million more White people in America than there are Black people. White people make up roughly 62% of the U.S. population but only about 49% of those who are killed by police. Blacks, however, account for 24% of those fatally shot and killed by police despite being just 13% of the U.S. population which means, Black US Citizens are 2.5 times more likely as White US Citizens to be shot and killed by police, and *Unarmed* Black people have been killed at 5 times the rate of *unarmed* Whites.

Your erroneous premise regarding interracial rape is historically unfounded. Statutes provided virtually no penalties for the convicted White rapist than for the convicted Black man. Black women had no hope of recourse through the legal system. Rape involving Black offenders and White victims has always been treated with heightened malevolence, manifested in two ways. The first response was lynching. The second, from the early twentieth century on is the use of the legal system as a functional equivalent of lynching, illustrated by mob coercion of judicial proceedings, special doctrinal rules, opinions, and the markedly disparate numbers of executions for rape between White and Black defendants, as epitomized in the case of Brock Allen Turner. History illustrates the legal system has always protected the rights of White men over Black men.

In 1955 White woman Carolyn Bryant caused the brutal murder of 14-year-old Emmett Till, it wasn’t until August 2004 when she recanted her testimony, admitting she lied and Till had never touched, threatened or harassed her. How many other Black men have suffered from false rape charges?

National Crime Surveys refute the notion Black rapists “prefer” White victims. Scientific investigations of the relationship between race and rape have been flawed by the acceptance of *official* statistics, influenced by prevailing myths about rape and race. Inaccurate data has perpetuated fabrications and stereotypes about Black aggression and White victimization that have recurred throughout history, and contribute to the persistent belief the paradigm of rape involves a Black perpetrator and a White victim.

Now, if you’d bothered to pay even a modicum of attention in history class you would have learned; White men have committed rape at an exponentially higher percentage than Black men. Slave women were considered their master’s property and were allowed no autonomy of their own bodies, therefore, legally they could not be raped. A slave who refused the sexual advances of her slaver risked being sold, beaten, raped, and having her “husband” or children sold. This is why there are so many light-skinned Black women offspring of white slaveholders.

And lest we forget most Southern White women married for money and security, not love, and many succumbed to the forbidden *Black Love* of beautifully muscled smooth-skinned coffee-colored men over their scrawny pasty pimply white spouses.

The enormous imbalance of gender and racial power between two interracial parties problematizes the notion of a truly consensual romantic relationship between a female slave master and her male slave. These so-called consensual sexual partnerships can be seen, like rape, as an exercise in white patriarchal authority and the sexual relations between *Elite White Women* and enslaved Black men.

Samantha, taking perverse pleasure in quick and simplistic assumptions about others proves your selfishness and vaingloriousness causing you to lash out in order to protect your own illogical sense of self-worth. Obviously, your self-absorbed tendencies are linked to the two other unpleasant characteristics you display; Machiavellianism and psychopathic predisposition. Together, these traits are largely independent, yet when they coincide, they form a “Dark Triad”; i.e., a menage trois of nastiness.

Based on your meager critical thinking skills I’m sure you’ll find it difficult, but please do attempt to wrap your mentally deficient head around the book “They Were Her Property: White Women as Slave Owners in the American South” by Stephanie E. Jones-Rogers, examining how White women slave owners played an extensive part in the business of buying/selling, torturing, and even raping enslaved African men.

Last but not least, I want to sincerely thank you for your rambling lowbred comment. Even though your ad hominem remarks were meant to insult, in actuality you threw back your pointed white hood allowing the world to see your exaggerated reaction of fear, and the boiling hatred challenging your emotions; in so doing, you’ve given me a platform to use as an educational tool for those willing to learn.

So, rather than getting angry or returning the insults you’re obviously so deserving of, I extend to you my pity, not my anger. Perhaps today is a good day for you to do a little ideological housecleaning.

  2. First I’d like to say that the above blog / article was very interesting and particularly detailed, and I appreciate the effort put into it by the author.
I’m curious if time has served in spurring any amendment’s to any of the espoused opinions/claims?
Time has it’s ways of illuminating our interpretation of the truth, specifically in hindsight, as it’s always easier to recognize that we missed our off ramp when we find ourselves a significant number of mile markers off course. 🙂

Sad to see the negative discourse in these comments but I suppose it’s all par for the course in terms of normalcy via communication on the interwebs.
Yet Still; Despite many a prompt to abandon ship, I haven’t quite lost any of those pesky utopian overtures that are often lampooned by those who carry their laurels in a way antithetical to this old idealist.
We all have our own burdens to bare at the end of the day, but just know that as Brothers/Sisters in Christ, they aren’t quite as heavy. 😉

  3. Your extremely polite, and well thought out critique in addressing opposition in such a gracious, eloquent and courteous manner is truly refreshing. Thank you

Looking back in hindsight I could not have imagined Trump’s accomplishments or the atmosphere he managed to cultivate, both in and out of office. His continued successes have spurned many new observations, although, in the interest of both time and space I’ll keep things brief while continuing to stand on my original “100 Damages” yet raising it another 20.

    1. He’s been impeached twice; abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, in connection with his dealings with Ukraine, and incitement of an insurrection. In his own words “I became worse”
    2. Trumps been indicted 3 times, and formally charged in three criminal cases, and may soon be charged in a fourth
    3. He’s been criminally charged in a hush money case
    4. There’s a civil trial over his business practices
    5. A federal case in Florida related to the mishandling of classified documents, including sensitive documents on nuclear capabilities. There are 40 felony counts against him including charges of retaining classified information, obstructing justice and making false statements.
    6. Falsifying business records
    7. Misled banks and tax authorities about the value of assets including golf courses and skyscrapers to get loans and tax benefits
    8. He blatantly profited from his public office by refusing to divest from his personal businesses therefore committing unprecedented constitutional violations i.e., “Emolument Clause”.
    9. His tax cuts mainly benefited the rich by rigging the economy for big corporations and the ultra-wealthy has caused the national debt to balloon by hundreds of billions of dollars.
    10. He’s attacked the press and the civil servants who worked for him,
    11. He has repeatedly lied to the public for his own selfish purposes.
    12. Admired dictators… who does that???
    13. Trump has the worst economic record in modern U.S. History, the worst job numbers of any president since the Great Depression, health care costs increased under his “leadership” and lest we forget, imposing a tariff war with China severely hurt American farmers
    14. He encouraged his supporters to descend on the Capitol, promoting domestic political and physical violence
    15. Schemed to overturn legitimate election results
    16. Trump built a coalition out of white supremacists, conspiracy theorists, racists and bigots
    17. His deregulatory moves, loosened restrictions on auto emissions and opened up 82% of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska to oil companies (although reversed by present administration to reinstate environmental protections for designated areas)
    18. The U.S.-Mexico border fence he erected threatens desert aquifers, destroying protected Saguaro Cactus; illegal on federally designated wilderness; for the average citizen, felony charges and up to a 25-year prison sentence
    19. The U.S.-Mexico border fence devastated biodiverse wildland habitats for jaguars, ocelots and nearly 100 other endangered species; by waiving a multitude of critical environmental safeguards along the border, including the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
    20. And just how many sex-scandals has he been involved in, I’ve lost count?

Trump’s still a brash and dishonest narcissistic intellectually corrupt arrogant misogynist xenophobic who inflicted permanent damage on democracy, undermining fundamental principles of the United States core political system and values.
